1. Overview
Digital Bang Intelligence LLC. ("we", "us" or "our") publishes DSH Mobile - DeepSeek Harness ("DSH Mobile" or "the app"). DSH Mobile is an independent mobile companion for DeepSeek Harness. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by DeepSeek.
DSH Mobile connects you to a DeepSeek Harness service that you run on your own computer, so you can view and continue sessions, follow tasks, answer questions, approve tool actions, browse workspace files and receive alerts. It does not provide model services and does not host your computer's workspace.
We built the app so that we do not need your data. The app has no account, no advertising, and no analytics or crash-reporting SDK, and we operate no server that receives your sessions, files or credentials. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
2. Scope of this policy
This policy covers the DSH Mobile app for iOS and Android, our website dsh.claud.ing, and messages you send to support@claud.ing. It does not cover the computer-side service, model providers, push channels or file services that you connect the app to (see Section 7).
3. At a glance
| Question | Answer |
|---|---|
| Do you need an account with us? | No. |
| Does the app show ads? | No. |
| Does the app include analytics, crash-reporting or tracking SDKs? | No. |
| Does the app collect your location, contacts, calendar or messages? | No. |
| What leaves your device? | Only traffic between the app and the DeepSeek Harness service on your own computer, which you configure. Demo mode sends nothing anywhere. |
| What do we receive? | Nothing from the app. We receive only what you choose to email us, and the standard server logs of this website (Section 6). |
4. What the app handles
4.1 Connection details
You can scan a QR code or type the address and access token of the service on your computer. The address, mount path, candidate addresses and plugin version are stored on the device so the app can reconnect next time. The access token is stored through the Android Keystore or the iOS Keychain where the platform supports it; a token saved in ordinary preferences by an older version is migrated and deleted after the upgrade.
4.2 Session and workspace content
When you use sessions, messages, streamed replies, task status, answers to questions, approval results, file requests and images travel between your device and the DeepSeek Harness service on your computer. They are stored and processed by that service according to its own configuration. DSH Mobile does not upload this content to any server operated by us.
4.3 Notifications and diagnostics
The app can keep on the device the unread state, notification de-duplication state, interface preferences, a session list cache and a local diagnostic log. The log is used to troubleshoot connection and notification problems; it stays on your device unless you choose to share it. The access token should never be written to the log; if you ever see sensitive information in the log, stop sharing it and delete the local log data.
4.4 Files and images
Files or images you choose to upload are sent to the DeepSeek Harness service you configured. Downloaded files are saved in the app's private directory or in a location you pick in the system file or share sheet. The app does not read other content in your photo library without an action from you.
4.5 Optional push channels
The plugin on your computer can be configured, by you, with external push channels such as ServerChan, Bark, ntfy, WeCom bots or your own webhook. When enabled, your computer sends alerts to those services as configured. Third-party channels are governed by their own privacy policies; the plugin sends redacted alerts by default, but you should only configure channels you trust.
4.6 Demo mode
"Try the demo first" on the connection screen makes the app use built-in sample data: everything runs on your device, with no network access, no computer and no model involved, and nothing is uploaded. The demo address is demo.invalid (a reserved name that cannot resolve to a real host). A banner at the top shows "Demo mode" the whole time; tap "Leave demo" to connect to your own computer.
4.7 Encrypted relay (optional, not available in the current release)
The current release does not expose an entry point for this feature (neither the phone app nor the computer side shows it by default), so by default no relay server is ever contacted. Before the feature is offered, we will update this policy and our app store privacy disclosures. If you later enable it:
- The phone and the computer each connect outbound to the same relay server; your computer does not need to open any inbound port.
- Content between the phone and the computer (messages, sessions, files, approvals) is protected with end-to-end encryption (the Noise protocol, X25519 key exchange, ChaCha20-Poly1305). The relay server only forwards ciphertext and cannot read the content.
- The relay server can see connection metadata: the source IP address, the room identifier (a hash of the computer's public key), data volume and timing. The relay is designed not to store this, but whoever operates it could technically record it; network providers along the path may keep their own access logs.
- The device key that belongs to this phone is stored in the system secure storage (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore), one key per computer, and is never uploaded. The QR code contains no long-lived secret: only a one-time pairing code (valid for 5 minutes and usable once).
- You can "Unpair from this computer" in the phone settings at any time (this deletes the key on the phone), or revoke a phone in the computer's settings; revocation disconnects it immediately and does not affect other phones.
5. What each permission is for
- Camera: scan the connection QR code shown on your computer. The camera image is processed on your device to read the code and is not stored or transmitted.
- Photos: images you choose to send, or pictures you take with the camera.
- Local network: reach the DeepSeek Harness service on your local network.
- Notifications: show alerts for finished tasks, questions, approvals and errors.
- Android overlay and foreground service: used only after you turn on the Android desktop pet or background alerts; iOS does not request these permissions.
The app does not request location, contacts, calendar or microphone access, and it does not read the advertising identifier.
6. This website
dsh.claud.ing is a static website hosted by Cloudflare. It has no accounts, no forms, no advertising, no analytics, and no third-party scripts, fonts or embeds. The site sets no cookies of its own and uses no tracking cookies; Cloudflare may use a strictly necessary security cookie to protect the site.
Like any website, our hosting provider processes standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, time) to deliver the site and keep it secure. We do not use these logs to identify individual visitors. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
7. Third parties and advertising
DSH Mobile contains no ads, does not sell or rent personal information, and contains no advertising, analytics or cross-site tracking SDK. We do not "sell" or "share" personal information as those terms are defined in California law.
The computer-side service, model providers, push channels and file services that the app connects to are chosen and configured by you. When you use them, content is sent from your device or computer directly to them, authenticated with your own credentials; we do not operate, proxy or log that traffic and receive no copy of it. Their handling of your data is governed by their own privacy policies.
| Provider | Purpose | Their policy |
|---|---|---|
| Apple App Store | Distribution of the iOS app | Apple Privacy Policy |
| Google Play | Distribution of the Android app | Google Privacy Policy |
| Cloudflare | Hosting and delivery of this website | Cloudflare Privacy Policy |
The app stores may give us aggregated statistics such as download counts and crash reports; these are supplied by the store, not collected by our software. Data handled by Apple, Google and Cloudflare may be stored on servers in the United States and other countries.
We may disclose information where required by law, court order or a governmental authority. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, the limited data we hold (such as support emails) may be transferred as part of that transaction.
8. Retention and deletion
Local app data is kept until you clear the app data, uninstall the app, or delete the relevant configuration in the app settings. iOS exception: the access token and relay device keys in the system Keychain survive uninstalling the app until you reinstall and open it for the first time, when the app clears them on a fresh install. If you do not plan to reinstall, clear the access token under "Settings → Reconfigure connection" before uninstalling.
Session and workspace data on your computer is managed by your DeepSeek Harness service; to delete it, use the means DeepSeek Harness provides on the computer. To delete data held by third-party push services, use those services. We cannot delete data on your behalf that we never received.
Emails you send to us are kept only as long as needed to answer you and to keep a reasonable record of the request; you can ask us to delete them earlier.
9. Security
Use mobile connections only on a trusted local network or a private network you manage yourself, and set a strong access token for the mobile service. Do not send QR codes, access tokens, logs or screenshots containing session content to people you do not trust. DSH Mobile will not expose the service on your computer to the public internet for you.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the EU or UK GDPR, or California law), you may have the right to access, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, to object to or restrict its processing, and to withdraw consent. Because the app does not send your data to us, the personal data we hold is generally limited to what you email us, plus website server logs held by Cloudflare.
To exercise any of these rights, email support@claud.ing. We will respond within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
11. Children's privacy
DSH Mobile is intended for people who can manage developer tools and network connections on a computer. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the dates at the top of this page and publish the new text in the app and at dsh.claud.ing/privacy/. For material changes we will make reasonable efforts to notify users.
